How much does a man and van cost?
Local jobs are charged by the hour with a two-hour minimum; longer or UK-wide moves get a fixed quote. Call Ahmad on 07377 747277 with your postcodes and you'll get an honest price on the spot — see our prices page for the details.
Is there a minimum booking?
Yes — two hours for local work. Most one-bed flat moves fit comfortably inside it, and we'll tell you upfront if we think yours won't.
What's included in the price?
The van, the driver, fuel for local work, blankets and straps, and help loading and unloading. The van's interior is securely lined so your furniture travels protected.
Do you help with loading and unloading?
Always. We don't sit in the cab while you carry boxes — the lifting is part of the job. If you need extra hands only (no van), see our loading & unloading service.
Do you cover the whole UK?
Yes. We're based in London but regularly run moves to Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Bristol, Scotland and everywhere in between. See nationwide moves.
Can you do same-day moves?
Often, yes. Because you're calling the owner directly, we can tell you straight away whether we can fit you in today — no "someone will call you back". Just ring and ask.
