House & flat removals
Home moves, handled by the owners
From studio flats to family houses — packed into one extra-long wheelbase van, usually in a single trip.
One van, one trip, one team
The biggest cost in a small removal isn't the hourly rate — it's the second trip. Our extra-long wheelbase van swallows most one- and two-bed homes whole, so you pay for one journey instead of two.
And because MEN & VAN LTD is just Masood and Ahmad, the people who quote your move are the people who load it, drive it and set it down at the other end. Nothing gets promised on the phone and forgotten on the day.
How a move with us works
1. A straight quote
Call with your postcodes, floor and lift situation, and roughly what's moving. Local jobs get an hourly rate with a two-hour minimum; longer moves get one fixed figure. That's the number you pay.
2. Careful loading
The van's interior is securely lined, and blankets and ratchet straps come as standard. Mattresses wrapped, glass padded, furniture strapped so nothing shifts on the road.
3. Delivered and placed
We don't dump boxes in the hallway and leave. Beds to bedrooms, sofa where you want it, boxes to the rooms they're labelled for.
London flats are our home ground
Third-floor walk-ups, narrow Victorian staircases, permit-only parking, awkward communal doors — we move homes in London every week, and we plan around these things instead of discovering them on the day. Moving out of the city entirely? The same van simply keeps driving — see UK-wide moves.
